Barbara C McClain

Barbara McClain was born in Georgetown, Guyana, where she began her schooling. She received her secondary education after emigrating to England and ultimately earned BA and MA degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. After 20 years as an administrative professional, she began a 22-year career as a community college English teacher. She is a widow with two adult daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren
